Hi, I’m Rebecca — founder of Sounds of Joy Music Studio and a lifelong lover of music. I’ve taught piano and voice for many years,
and my passion is helping students grow not just in skill, but in confidence, creativity, and joy.

Learning to play beautiful piano music doesn’t have to take years. At Sounds of Joy Music Studio, we can teach even a beginner to play beautiful, sophisticated sounding music that is emotionally satisfying in a matter of weeks. We can even teach you and your party guests to learn one beautiful piece in one night.
Our studio proudly teaches music from ComposeCreate.com, which helps new students play the music that is mature and significant. We offer in-person or online lessons as well as group classes, and piano pizza (or snack) parties to help you have fun learning with your friends.

These selections are around 3-4 lines and will have MP3 backing tracks to listen to AND play or sing along with. We also try to add a "brain break" coloring worksheet to the mix while students LISTEN to music played. They're truly "learning" while "listening".

These songs are typically around 1-3 pages long and provide students with additional practice of the newly learned music elements. These selections also have MP3 backing tracks to LISTEN to at first, and thenplay or sing along.
Repertoire
Meaning: "List of Songs"
These special music pieces will emphasize Dynamics, Mood & Expression that can be presented for family/friends concerts. During the learning phase, an MP3 track is provided for "listening" only. Your musician will be able to present these pieces fully by themselves.
